The Center for Brave Communication teaches a framework that takes your team from good people with good intentions to equipped people with a clear plan for the ways in which culture is tested during seasons of transition. "Culture testing" happens in moments of disagreement, distrust or uncertainty about the future, and it's a completely inevitable part of change and growth. We encourage leadership & HR teams to plan for this, rather than assume they can avoid it. If you employ human people, you cannot prevent them from damaging or breaking each other's trust, disagreeing with one another or getting in their own heads and finding themselves in a place of fear and worry about their jobs. These are expected and normal parts of collaboration during seasons of transition or rapid growth. Since we can't avoid the turbulence, it's best to equip people for it!
